Strategy game. Sid Meier's Railroads! game gives you a chance to build your own empire! You can choose one out of 15 different fictional and historical scenarios. The historical scenarios take place in real-world locations, including: Great Britain , France , Germany , American Southwest and the Pacific Northwest . These scenarios are based on the historical events of the railroad, starting from its beginning in the mid-19 th century till the modern day. There are several goals to reach in each scenario. To do this you should, for example: to connect Liverpool and Manchester , earning money for this. In the historical scenario you can ignore the objectives set before you and concentrate on building a massive shipping empire. The game suggests a lot of challenges in both types of scenarios. You can also try your strategic building skills in multiplayer option. All the scenarios from single-player game are available in multiplayer, including the objectives. The game supports up to four players online.
