TerraGame and BillYard are Internet web sites. TerraGame site is designated to give people ability to play networked games with partners worldwide. It combines several virtual clubs to play different games, such as Billiards, SeaWar and others. BillYard is subdivision of TerraGame, community of billiard funs, playing Live Billiards game.

What is Guest Membership? Is it free?

Yes, it's completely free. Joining as Guest you obtain free Live Billiards demo version and ability to watch online game sessions in BillYard club and get own member page. Live Billiards Demo allows you also to play 3-Ball local games at home.

What is difference between Demo and Full versions of Live Billiards?

Demo version can't start Web games, it just watches them. At home you can play 3-Ball yourself or with networked partner via IPX or TCP/IP protocols. Full version has all of the features.

How to select better choice to pay for TerraGame membership?

start with cheapest way - buy Home Version of Live Billiards.
You'll obtain also 1-month Silver Membership and will have
enough time to evaluate if you really want to play with partners
worldwide. Then you'll be able to prolong your membership more.

What is difference between Silver and Gold Memberships?

Membership lasts 3 month, while Gold lasts 1 year. This just permits
to save you some $$.

How to get Live Billiards installed on my computer?

time joining TerraGame you'll be prompted to install Live Billiards
automatically, at other times lets go to Install item in top menu.

I used 'Open' choice during download dialog, and program asks me several times about confirmations. What should I do?

Answer 'Yes' on all prompts, and setup will continue. You are free to select 'Open' or 'Save' choices, but 'Open' will go faster, because you needn't manually launch saved PoolLoader program.
WARNING! Be sure to be logged in TerraGame during installation as stated in download page prompt.

I occasionally erased Live Billiards on my computer. Could I restore it again?
A8. Of
course. Being Silver or Gold you can download and install game
as many times as you want. Enter club, then select Install from
your member page and repeat installation.
Q9.
Can I install Live Billiards on several computers and play from all places?
A9.
Yes, you can. TerraGame policy requires you just to use the only place at a time. So you can install game both at home and office and elsewhere, but you'll be able to play game and login to TerraGame from one location at any given moment. Concurrent login from few computers is prohibited, and such attempt will have "Duplicate access" error message.

I tried to login,
but was rejected with "Duplicate access" message. What's wrong?

TerraGame allows the only user
with given name to be logged in club in certain time.
There are three reasons for this situation.
1. You didn't press logout button recently leaving TerraGame (not
more 10 min ago).
Solution: Site will automatically log you off after 10 min, so
lets wait 10 min and login again. In some cases you can directly
press MemberArea button in top menu, lets try it as well.
2. You are already logged in TerraGame from another computer.
Lets logout on another computer to get access here.
3. Someone other is logged on under your name.
Be sure to keep your login/password away from others to prevent
unauthorized access. Change password immediately. Report such
situation to TG
Support.

How can I know my password after registration?

You will receive your password by email, sent to address, specified during registration. So please use actual address. Then you can change password at any time.

I lost my password in TerraGame, what can I do?

Use 'Forgot password' link in login page, and you'll receive remind letter with password, sent for your stored email address.

I don't want to use my real name and other data in personal info, could I leave them blanked?

Sure. All fields are optional, and you fill them on your own taste. The only real data should be your email address, because this is the way you receive your password. See more information in Privacy Policy page for TerraGame.

How do you calculate rating?
A14.
Rating level is calculated during competitions ONLY, practice game doesn't affect its value.
Calculation takes in account several parameters, such as game type difficulty, both player current ratings and final score. The harder is game and the more is score, the more is rating addition. However if skilled player won novice, his rating addition will be small, instead if he lost to novice, a larger part of his rating will move to novice.
In general it's possible to loose or win from 5 to 40 points of rating per game.

What does mean different colors in playlists?

White color means this player is connected to this game, red color means he's disconnected, and game is waiting for him.
Yellow color means that game has status 'Protected' and any access (watch/chat) to it is prohibited. Grey color means game is Private status and is available just for Watch, Chat is prohibited. See more about game status (link!) and coloring rules (Link!)

What are Watch and Play pages for?

In Watch tab you can click on white game and watch online game in progress. So Watch permits you to follow how others play.
Play tab is for your own games, and you can continue postponed games or accept other's invitation and start new game. See more about Watch (Link!) and Play (link!) tabs.

I got red Error message during installation, what can I do?

Be sure to have Live Billiards not running during installation, new copy can't replace running one.
In some cases you can get error description as 'Can't replace Start.dll'. You can don't care about this and finish installation. If you still want to pass installation without error messages please logout and then finally close your browser. After this login again and immediately go to Install page without attempts to do other actions.

I tried to install game by launching saved Loader program, but was failed, what can I do?

TerraGame requires you to be logged in club during installation as stated in download page prompt. Lets login under your name and repeat procedure.

I occasionally used wrong email during registration, what can I do?

Lets write letter to support@terragame.com with mandatory information: your nickname, correct email, membership level, and date of registration. We'll check conditions and will help you.

I use Netscape browser and can't start or watch games, what can I do?
