Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is an intense first-person shooter that features good quality graphics, realistic sound effects and various soundtracks that enhance atmosphere of action. Locations are large and well done. Somalia cities look ruined; you see rusted roofs, shattered windows, and damaged houses that reconstruct war devastation. As for water, it is impressive, reflecting the sun and creating foam under helicopter propeller. Another feature that is worse mentioning is combat representation; vehicles explode extremely vividly and brightly, bullets kick up sand and tear leaves of trees with distinctive sound. Vehicles and weapons look realistic that can't be said about characters. The sound system is diverse though is not as good as visuals. In-game music is various and suits perfectly to the game atmosphere. All in all, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is a simple intense shooter that you may enjoy irrespective of repetitive and intricate missions.
