So, using assistance of the People's Revolutionary Army of San Esperito, as well as the rival drug cartel, Rico begins fulfilling his mission by means of assassination, espionage and plenty of destruction. There are tons of vehicles to your disposal including boats, planes and helicopters, surely if you can get close enough to it. Another positive moment is that anytime you aren't in a fight or in an awkward area, you can call for an extraction or vehicle drop through the CIA. Extractions transfer you to recently unlocked safe house, where you can get to health, ammo, weapons and vehicles. After a few missions, you're given a grappling gun, which you can use to hook onto vehicles from a few hundred meters away. Grappling onto moving vehicles, helicopters and planes will cause your parachute to automatically deploy, making it possible to parasail around the island. Except full of variety and depth 21 story quests, there are tons of different side quests, some of which are entertaining while others looks repetitive and boring.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Graphics of Just Cause is fantastic except small glitches. The game environment is huge and impressively detailed. There are several urbanized locations, such as many-storied districts, military installations, seaports and airports, but the rest of San Esperito is blanketed in undeveloped rainforest that is peppered with crude settlements. The underwater scenes are amazing and the jungles are luxuriant and bright. The colors used may seem unrealistic, but they really attract your attention, making you want to look around. As for sound system, it matches perfectly to the exotic action. The soundtracks are lively and fun with a nice Latin feel. You hear mixes classical Spanish guitars with electronic beats, blaring trumpets and surf. Nearly all characters speak in broken English with Spanish accent that creates feeling as if you were in Caribbean region.
