First-person shooter. Assume the role of Tommy, a Cherokee Indian, who doesn't care about his heritage and the only desire he has is to take his girlfriend, Jen, and leave the reservation. You will enter a living spaceship which enslaves alien races. The game has a serious dark storyline, which is based on Chirokee mythology. There are several main themes raised in the story, among them: the story of love, sacrifice and responsibility. The most interesting part of the game starts when you play around with gravity. You will find lots of means which help you walking up walls and ceilings. Among the tasks, set before you, are a number of puzzles to solve. Much of the gameplay time you spend in combat. All of the weapons you have are of alien origin; there is a great variety of them. Your character has different abilities, so you can leave your own body and have a 'spirit walk'. In spirit form you are armed with a kind of weapon, which can kill many enemies in one shot. There is a great variety of other interesting options in the game. It becomes much harder with the game's progress.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Prey is an exciting game which features nice 3D graphics with highly organic, living environment. You will find all the characters and weapons look good in the game. One of the strongest features of the game is the strength of its visuals. The weapons sound appropriate but lack punch. The background music is also quite relevant.
