Advent Rising

Action/adventure. Advent Rising is the first part of an epic trilogy that lets players begin thrilling intergalactic adventure and experience great variety of challenges and unforgettable impressions. The main character is a novice space pilot, named Giddeon Wyeth, who leads a regular life until human beings have been warned by friendly aliens that another race, known as seekers is going to attack and wipe all the people off the face of the earth. The main hero is assigned as a co-pilot on a spacecraft under command of his elder brother for carrying-out dangerous but vital mission - first contact. They set out for the mission and happen to be involved in stirring action series of sequences and events. There is great variety of deadly arsenal to your disposal, which includes futuristic pistols, machine guns, laser rifles, rocket launchers and many others, all weapons possess alternative fire. In addition you gain upgradeable special powers, such as energy blasts, telekinesis, levitation and energy shields, which can used in combination with primary weapon.  

Advent Rising is a fast-paced action, represented in cinematic format that transfer players in unimaginable intergalactic saga. The storyline was created in collaboration with award-winning, sci-fi author Orson Scott; it begins with impressive introduction and develops in numerous cut scenes. When you watch cut scenes you see intense battles with bright explosions, incredible fire of lasers and variety of spaceships. As for graphics, it is solid and runs smoothly; locations and characters are depicted quite well, though they are away from perfection. What is really great in Advent Rising - it is music. Music, performed by Hollywood union orchestra and members of legendary choir sounds amazingly and fits perfectly to the whole atmosphere. All-in-all, Advert Rising, as the first episode in a trilogy is quite raw; we hope that the following sequels will be more interesting and qualitative.
