NiBiRu: Age of Secrets

Adventure. Play as Martin Holan, who receives a telephone call from his Uncle Francois, a famous archaeologist, who asks you to visit Prague to meet Barbara Kanska and examine a mysterious World War II tunnel. When Martin arrives in Prague, Barbara has departed, and Martin must search for her and for the clues to the mystery, she had sought to reveal. The main thing in the game is to examine locations thoroughly, looking for “hotspots”, but strict and sometimes odd sequence of the solutions may confuse. For example, you need to click on the door, to make sure it is locked and only after that you may use the key to open it. You are restricted to a few rooms or environments in each part of the game, so if you’re stuck you know pretty much where you need to look or what hotspots you need to work with. I like this much better than wandering all over huge worlds trying to figure out what I’ve missed. In addition, there is a sliding tile puzzle and several timed puzzles with generous time limits.

Nibiru: Age of Secrets is a point-and-click mystery adventure that allows you to visit 80 exotic locations, which cause astonishment at the beauty and detail of the graphics. Animation is well done and is present in every scene, for example, a tram running along a side street, a tourist strolling across a bridge, etc. As for the characters, they are also well done and detailed; animation of characters in smooth but repetitive a bit. Sound effects and voice acting are rather good, some characters speak with foreign accents. All in all, NiBiRu: Age of Secrets is the third person point-and-click adventure with spectacular graphics, intriguing storyline and plenty of interesting characters.
