Action/Adventure. The main character, named D-Tritus has arrived to Chimera, an asteroid inhabited by robots. He is looking for a job, but there is only one vacancy of a journalist. D-Tritus accept this job and begins an investigation of a robot's murder. Initially the case seems trifling because every robot has the matrix and can be retrieved. But as it turns out, somebody has stolen matrixes from the Great Data Base and our main hero must figure out who the thief is, because everyone is in danger. D-Tritus has to penetrate into the GDB, avoiding flying guards and get necessary information. To succeed in Scrapland the main hero has to fly on a spacecraft. There are tones of different spacecrafts with various set of weaponry. You can upgrade your spaceship and ammunition in any shop. The more powerful spacecraft, the quicker you blow up the enemies from your way.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Scrapland is an exciting third-person action with impressive graphics, tones of great sound effects, original idea and easy gameplay. Chimera resembles deserted ship's cemetery; rich environments with special effects and detailed textures impress you at a glance. Music and sound effects are equal worth to graphics. The voices are very expressive and sound great; numerous sound effects make you flinch; music is original and suits well to the whole atmosphere.
