Genre and what to do:
Action/puzzle. The main character is a lovely girl, named Kate, who reopened her grandfather's candy factory after 20 years of standstill. She begins working hard, but suddenly she mixes up some ingredients and sweets turn into potential explosive. It's high time to put the situation right otherwise the factory may blow up. Launch multicolored candies to match of three or more sweets of the same color, thus popping them. Your main task is to prevent the Sherbet Sizzlers from clashing. When you match candies with special signs you earn power-ups, which help you on your uneasy way.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Sweetopia is a fast-paced game with colorful graphics, diverse sound effects and pleasant but repetitive music. The game begins with good introduction and includes numerous cut scenes in course of game play, which make the game more attractive and interesting. Unfortunately in-game options are limited to adjustment of music, sound effects and screen mode. All-in-all, Sweetopia is a nice twist of classic action puzzles with distinctive originality; it may be interesting for all fans of this genre.
