Genre and what to do:
Arcade game. The game puts you in shoes of Major John Dutch Cane, a commando, whose mission is to destroy a group of very dangerous enemies, which is trying to colonize space. You must use specialized sensor equipment and massive firepower to defeat the enemy and prevent it from making harm to the universe. Start the game with a basic machinegun and a map, which shows your surroundings. You have a possibility to take ammo from dead soldiers, weapon staches or some secret arenas. More details, such as: more kinds of weapons, more detailed maps, etc. are added to the gameplay with the game's progress.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Blowout is a challenging game with 2D graphics, which looks rather good. You'll go through well-designed levels and shoot a great amount of targets using the game's smooth and easy controls. The sound system is a weak point of the game. There is nothing appealing about the sounds and voice effects. They are too ordinal and unattractive.
