Detective game. Nancy Drew - Dossier - Lights, Camera, Curses! is one more exciting game in the game series. All the previous Nancy Drew.s games were of puzzle genre, this one is the first made in the hidden object genre. It combines both fresh and familiar features, making the gameplay fun unforgettable. This time our teens are involved in the Hollywood movie studio which is remaking a classic movie, Pharaoh. A few accidents took place there, and it is up to Nancy to unravel the mystery behind them. Each important evidence is kept in the diary. All the clues are organized chronologically. There are nice mini-games throughout the gameplay. When you pick a lock, a Tetris style mini-game begins. You are to drop tumblers of different colors to match a picture the game shows you. One more important item is the action bar, where you can perform action, for example, interacting with the object, picking locks, etc, when the bar is blue.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Nancy Drew - Dossier - Lights, Camera, Curses! is a challenging game which provies its players with beautifully crafted hand-drawn graphics and great sound system. The photo realistic 3D of the originals is also nicely rendered. The background music is of Egyptian style, which suits the film, Pharaoh. The game is full of sound effects, for example, each time a sparkle accompanied by a sound, and indicates something of importance. The game is rather interesting and fun, especially for those who enjoy plying the games from the series.
