Genre and what to do:
The first place you'll encounter D, Hunter of the Dead, is east of Saintsbridge in Stormhill west of the Summonwater Village Site of Grace. The player will find D, not far from the village, along the path to your right. When the player meets him, he will be standing over a dead body. Talk to him and he will warn you not to go to the village in front as it is filled with undead. Since Tarnished is very brave, log in to Summonwater Village. Defeat the Tibia Mariner mini-boss here, after the fight - loot his body to take Death root.

After defeating the boss, talk to Dee, who will be standing in the western part of Summonwater Village. If he's not there, you'll be able to talk to him later at Roundtable Hold. Show him Death root and he'll tell you about the whereabouts of Gurrang, Beast Clergyman. Dee will show you the location of the portal on your map southeast of Summonwater Village. Go to him and he will take you to Bestial Sanctum. Portal is in the bushes, so inspect them carefully.

Log in to Bestial Sanctum, and pass Gurrang Death root. Gurrang Beast Clergyman is a salesperson and he will give you items in exchange for Death root. After that, talk to D at Roundtable Hold. Once the player talks to Gurrang, D becomes his spell merchant. Talk to Rogier about D in Roundtable Hold. Keep talking to him about D from time to time, as later in the game he will give you important information related to him.

You'll find Fia (the death hug lady) at Roundtable Hold. Talk to her after boss fights, and let her hug you. When you first go up to her, you'll be surprised to find out that she's offering free hugs. Eventually, you'll get the "May I ask a favor?" dialog option (this dialog may not appear until you open Altus Plateau). Choose this option and it will give you Weathered Dagger. Fia will ask you to find the owner of this dagger and return it to him. This is D, of course, so hand it over when you'll reach him.

Return to Roundtable Hold after a while. You won't find D and Fia in the usual places. Walk past the blacksmith into the room, to the left of the stairs, to find Fia standing over D's dead body. Loot his body to get a special Bell Bearing for the Twin Husks and a set of "Twinned Armor". It is very important that you collect this set of armor and keep it with you, as you will need it later to perform quests.

Go to Rogier and you'll find him dead too. Come back later and you'll receive a letter from Rogier and a set of armor from his corpse. In the letter, Rogier reveals that D has a younger brother who is in an aqueduct near Nokron, Eternal City. Go and talk to Brother D at Nokron, Eternal City. Talk to him and give him armor D. If you gave the twin's armor to brother D, he will appear at the end of the Quest Line Fia, standing next to her corpse. The brother will then fight you instead, changing the whole situation with Fia's fate.
