Genre and what to do:
First-person shooter. Assume the role of Arnold and dive into the exciting thrills in Alpha Prime. From the very beginning of the game you are dropped into the abandoned space asteroid mining base where you face various robots and automatic systems which must be demolished and defeated. Using the weaponry, strategic decisions and all the necessary items, suggested by the game, you will try to reach your goal through the dark corridors of Alpha Prime. The game features ten huge levels, five characters to help you, and 14 different enemies, including Special Forces, crazy miners, and robots. Playing the game you can use hubbardium that gives a possibility to slow down time. With the progress the game becomes real challenge even for the most experienced players.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Alpha Prime is a very challenging first-person shooter game designed with a medium level graphics and well-selected audio. Most of action will take place inside the constructions, so you will wander through almost the same corridors, offices and rooms. As for the rest, the environmental design is quite good. The locations and backgrounds are represented in a detailed way. The sound effects are rather nice though not varied, and get repetitive after a while. Overall, it is a good game of this genre, providing its players with nice selection of weapons and items to use, exciting storyline, and challenging game play.
