Tradition of burning torch relay-race, where the fire was brought from Olympia to the city of Summer Olympics, was founded in 1936. Since then, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was enriched with a thrilling spectacle of torch lighting on the Olympic stadium from burning torch at start. Running torch carrying sportsmen – is a solemn prologue of games for more than four decades. With Renaissance époque to be born, and interest to Ancient Greece arts was regained, and mankind remembered the Olympics. In the early 19th century, sports in Europe were widely accepted and there was the desire to organize the Olympics.
