Genre and what to do:
Matching game. 80 Days invites players to set out for unforgettable adventure around the world in eighty days in companion with Phileas Fogg, his beloved woman Aouda and his trusted servant Passepartout. Your task is to swap adjacent object to make a vertical or horizontal match of three or more of the same kind. As you match items the tiles under them turn into yellow ones. Turn all the tiles into yellow ones in order to complete a level. There are several power-ups that help you to achieve the goal. They are: bombs, a hand that mixes blocks around, a globe that is a joker, and a sand clock that adds 30 seconds to time limit.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
80 Days is a classic match-three game that features nice Victorian-themed graphics, standard sound effects and repetitive piano music. There is storyline that tells about the characters' adventures, based on the original novel by Jules Verne. All in all, 80 Days is one of hundreds match-three games with unoriginal game concept, few power-ups and one game mode; if you are a fan of this genre, try to find something else here.
