Matching game. Begin unforgettable adventure through six locations to uncover the mystery of your grandfather disappearance and find 5 pieces of the golden key that opens the sacred Gold Room, full of uncountable treasures. You begin with an old map and a piece of the golden key but you have strong desire to achieve the goal. Your task is to swap adjacent items to make a vertical or a horizontal match of three or more objects of the same kind. The tiles behind objects are locked; you unlock them by creating matches on them. You are to destroy all the locked tiles before time runs out to proceed to the next level. As you advance through the game various power-ups and obstacles appear on the game board, making game play much interesting.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Brick Journey is one of hundreds match-three games that features colorful graphics, standard sound effects and doubtful electro music. Graphics is without luxuries; you swap such objects as cups, books, keys, soap, etc. (It is interesting to know, who has suggested such original and appropriate selection of objects to the designers.) There is quite interesting storyline, unfortunately represented in the form of bare text. As for power-ups, they are unoriginal as well as game concept. I wonder who can be amazed by bombs, mines, jumping items, etc. All in all, Brick Journey is unoriginal game of average quality, so I can't recommend it to anybody. If you like this genre, try to look for something else here.
