Genre and what to do:
Hidden object game. Lost in the City tells you the story in which the main character meets a girl, who invites him to her place, where he drinks drugged coffee and wakes up in the basement of an unknown building. Now he has to search for clues to get the freedom. Someone guides you through the ruins of an empty city, leaving mysterious instructions which make you visit varied locations. At first you want to find the girl, April, who you believe to be responsible for everything. Later on you are taken into a deeper and more mysterious storyline which involves an underground research of an ancient artifact and a hidden city in Russia. The gameplay provides you with a mysterious storyline, which will keep you guessing until the last minutes of the game. Each location you visit provides you with a list of Missions which must be fulfilled; among which you will have to find certain items and solve puzzles.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Lost in the City is a game which features great mixture of hidden object and adventure game genres. The game provides you with a nice though not superb graphics. You will visit varied locations, whose representation suits the game atmosphere. The only negative feature is the way the characters look; some of them are poorly drawn. As for the sound system; you are going to listen to well-selected effects and suitable background music. Overall, the game is worse attention of the hidden object genre fans.
