Genre and what to do:
RPG/ Strategy. Empires and Dungeons offers you to assume the role of a lord and fight for the crown with other nobles of the kingdom. If you want to succeed you are to build an impregnable castle, hire a battle worthy army, explore dangerous dungeons to find treasures and gather resources. You see a map of the kingdom with different icons that indicate all the competing lords, castles, accessible towns, resources and dungeons. Each lord leads an army and takes turns moving. As for resources, they appear periodically and you need to collect them before the opponents do it. Dungeon icons pop up periodically and you may explore it to gain experience and treasures. When you have collected enough resources and have looted enough gold in dungeons, you may build new structures in your castle that increase army formation and defense system. As you erect necessary structures you may hire soldiers, knights, archers and catapults, which form a powerful army, indispensable for defeating competing nobles. When you defeat all the opponents you gain access to the next maps ( there are 12 maps in total). But don⮮t expect that it would be a piece of cake to win and I advise you to never engage anyone unless you have overwhelmingly superior forces, because if you are defeated you will lose a friendly town and its taxes or your army.
