Chicken's Revenge

   Shooter game. It is a great game which offers many different kinds of exclusive shootings. To tell the truth this game is simply based off of the old Centipede formula with most of your enemies marching down upon you from the top of the screen. You have to eliminate only 24 of the baddies, but the numbers increase as you proceed through the game until the entire screen is crawling with starving savages. You also get to face off against six other various enemy types that attack you from every conceivable direction and some of their attack methods are truly ingenious. So all in all you have to kill your enemies using different weapons. You can train your attention and accuracy during playing this game. You must have this fun simply shooting in this day and age of ultra-sophisticated games with their hyper-realistic graphics, celebrity voice-overs and complicated control patterns.

   This game offers you 25 unique levels spread across five episodes to test the level of your mettle. You are treated to three different difficulty levels. These levels are Regular, Hard-core and Timed. The difficulty definitely ramps up at the higher levels and you are given a run for your money when facing the timer on the extreme level. You are going to enjoy five bonuses and three super bonuses during this game. Power-ups come in the forms of coins or gems that result from shooting objects on the screen. They can come from any possible object and will actually explode to level a section of the playing field if they are shot numerous times. Being able to shoot the power-ups is crucial as the bullets can change the falling trajectory of the coins or gems when they are headed off the side of the playing field. Graphically, Revenge of the Chicken is a sight for sore eyes. All of the levels are intricately drawn with bright, cheerful colors. The character animations are exceptionally humorous, especially when the chicken meets her end at the hands of her fowl pursuers. The audio shows the true spirit of the whole game. It is funny that every time you eliminate an object, it makes its own particular sound. When your weapon is upgraded, the sounds of the shots differs, just the same as when any power-up is received, and it has the realistic sounding of an actual machine gun being fired in rapid succession. Even the background music is worth listening before you start up the game. This game may be a simplistic shooter, but it still is put together very well and keep you coming back for more time and time again.
