Genre and what to do:
Shooter. Welcome to the South Pacific region and take part in total madness . the war between two islands for destroying each other's palm trees! You can either take an antique jet and bomb the enemy pal trees or defense your island using cannon. Shoot at flying balloons to earn power-ups, which transform your old cannon onto bubble gun or even laser. There are five game modes: Invasion, Duel, Challenge, Balloon Pop, and Free-For-All that appeal to wide range of players. One of the game highlights is possibility to challenge a friend and fight with him for island dominance!
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Island Wars 2 is a childish shooter that features colorful graphics, diverse sound effects and cheerful instrumental music. Graphics is colorful and simple; you see an exotic island with several palm trees and cannon on it, the island is surrounded by turquoise sky and seas. Jets are quite funny, especially when they fall down on fire. Unfortunately there is no storyline thus it is odd, to say the least of it, that you have to fight for palm trees. All in all, Island Wars 2 is childish, non violent game that may be interesting for kids and their parents.
