Genre and what to do:
Shooter. Play as the last survived pilot of a ruined space research station, you must help rebuild the station's defence system, acquire alien technology and create your own uniquely configured set of fighters. The game begins from comprehensive tutorial levels that explain you how to navigate spaceship, harvest resources and build necessary structures. As you explore the boundless universe you mine the asteroids for valuable resources that are necessary to produce fuel and weaponry. Uncover the terrible purpose of the evil Archnid race and learn why you and the rest of the crew were brought here. Mine, research, build, destroy and survive...it's all up to you in Starscape!

Starscape is an engaging shooter that features bright detailed visuals, diverse sound effects and suitable electronic music. The game characters, spaceships, a space station and locations are well done and impresses by variety and details. There is quite amusing story, represented in the form of dialogues, that begins with introduction and develops as you advance through the game. All in all, Starscape is the worth-playing game, since it contains bright visuals, variety of missions and spacecrafts and unique game concept that combine classic shooter with role-playing game and strategy.
