Genre and what to do:
Shooter. Our beautiful planet is in danger! Herds of ruthless invaders from Orion have reached our planet with the order to leave nobody alive. Only you, a brave pilot can defend peaceful people and throw back the aliens to their den. Take the ultra modern spacecraft armed with deadly primary weapon and loads of secondary weapons, and go ahead to victory and glory. Your objective is to destroy all the enemy units and close the vortex hole to stop the enemy from coming back. As you move through levels you can upgrade your primary weapon, pick up ammo for secondary weapon and earn extra life.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
XAvenger is a fast-paced shooter that features colorful detailed graphics, diverse sound effects and appropriate electronic music. As for graphics, it is well done; enemy units and locations are vary and good rendered. Shots, missile launches and explosions impresses by colors and physics. The only downside is that your spacecraft looks quite primitive and resembles butterfly. The highlight is wide range of weapons to your disposal such as basic weapon, plasma cannon, lasers, sonic pulser, proton cannon, missiles, heat seeking missiles and more. Another point that is worth mentioning is that your spaceship can move forward and backwards what increases maneuverability. All in all, XAvenger is an intense and captivating shooter that will appeal to wide range of shooter fans by well rendered design and diverse game play.
