Upon subscribing you will create your team name and begin the process of selecting your team. As the General Manager, you are allotted a $30M salary cap... Your starting lineup will include 10 players, which will be further defined in the " Draft Your Team" page. You will accrue points on a weekly based on the performance of your players in their actual NBA games. See the " Scoring" page for the point system. Depending on how you fare against the competition, you may qualify for weekly cash payouts, as well as the end-of-season $10,000 GRAND PRIZE.

Your starting lineup must include 10 players:
* 3 Guards
* 3 Forwards
* 3 Centers
* 1 Dream Team Player
To select your players, click on "Player Salaries Tab" this page will display the necessary information to assist you in choosing your players based on position and salary.
Any active NBA player selected by DimeSports is eligible to be a member of your team. Their position is based on the position played last year and their salaries are set by DimeSports. Your Fantasy Team will score points based on how your individual team members play in their actual football games, so build the best team you can for the money you have.

If one of your team members hits a slump or gets injured in real-life, you can cut them from your team and pick up another player, as long as you remain within the $30M salary cap. Be smart with your initial selections and trade wisely - because you only get a limited number of free moves. You have until October 28, 2008, at 6:00pm EST to make as many changes as you like, provided players haven't been frozen into your roster. After that, each sell counts as one trade. At the start of the season, you'll have two free trades. Each week, beginning November 3, 2008, you'll get two more.
To purchase a player, just click on that player. You'll then be instructed to confirm your purchase by clicking Yes or No.
