American History Lux

   Turn-based strategy. Take part in the most dramatic and significant wars of American history starting from French and Indian War to Iraq War! You can partake in ten wars; every war is fought on a realistic map that contains all the authentic cities, forts and geographic names. A map is divided into your and opponent.s territory; the territory that is under your control is marked by blue color. At the beginning of each turn you post your army near the enemy border, after that you may attack the opponent. You should capture cities, forts and other bonus regions in order to raise your income, thus you increase number of units at the beginning of the next turn. On completion your attacks, you proceed to fortifying phase; it means that you can fortify each military unit by moving your men from adjacent territory. In order to build correct strategy, you need to look through the cards and incomes of opponents that you can see in the player info. When you defeat the enemies you get all cards that they had. If you want to earn the best odds of winnings you are to attack using three or more armies.

   American History Lux is a captivating turn-based strategy that features colourful graphics, diverse sound effects and stunning orchestra music. In addition to enormous fun, the game possesses great educational value, since it contains meaty historical information and links about every war. Unfortunately there is no multiplayer mode that would have made the game much interesting. All in all, American History Lux is a small but appealing strategy that allows you to take part in the most significant wars of American history and learn about those heroic events.
