Genre and what to do:
Real-time strategy. It is an involving mixture of strategy and real action. Your task is to fulfill various missions having a military squad under your control. You can take part in four historical campaigns and be on Russian, British, the US or German side. Before every mission you receive a map with a set of objectives and numerous enemies. All types of WWII weaponry are represented in the game. You can use authentic gun machines, pistols, rifles, grenades, mines and explosives to turn the scale of war on your side. Playing the game you also have to control a wide range of vehicles, from tanks to motorcycles. Effective use of any vehicle requires complete set of crewmembers. Ammo is limited in the game like in real battle, but you can pick up abandoned cartridges and use them. Easy control and challenging gameplay makes Soldiers: Heroes of World War II an extremely attractive for all fans of strategy games.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
All the environments of European battlefields look natural and are highly detailed. Details are everywhere, even in the smallest objects. Sound effects are of equal worth to graphics. All salvos, explosions sound differently and great. You hear everything, from noise of vehicles to footfall sounds. There are three difficulty levels, so you can choose the most suitable one.
