Submarine simulation. Set in WWI, 1914 Shells of Fury. is the first WWI submarine simulation to be released. Players have command of their very own WWI Submarine from the German Emperor.s fleet. Prepare to participate in exciting underwater missions from WWI, and work out detailed strategies using powerful weapons. The game allows such game modes as Campaigns, Missions and specialized missions - which are generated according to what parameters you want to explore. You can challenge yourself with fighting in some fairly optimistic ways such as one against many . in really bad weather, at night, in the middle of winter. Unfortunately you can control 4 German submarines only that is a bit frustrating. Take command and control of the various missions given, while roaming across the ocean. Players must use tactical skills in order to survive and move ahead of the opponent.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
1914 Shells of Fury features nice graphics that lacks motion and outside perspectives of view. The waves and water look nice, but there is no depth to it. There is rust and other natural effects, but they are cheap snapshots and do not have the slightest 3D look to them. As for sound system, it may be characterized as Spartan; you expect rich various ambient sounds, like engine noise, gears grinding, etc. But instead of that you here scanty sounds that is really frustrating. All in all, 1914 Shells of Fury is solid game with no depth that allows you to experience sea battles during WWI superficially.
