Genre and what to do: Action/Shooter. Countless herds of bloodthirsty monsters are attacking you from all sides. Do you brave enough to accept the challenge and wipe them off the face of the earth? Take a powerful weapon and make those mutants, giant spiders, monsters and lizards bite the dust. There are three challenging game modes: Quest, Rush and Survival. Quest Mode invites players to experience intensive combat throughout four breathtaking quests with only one goal- eliminate all bloody monsters together with their bosses. As you advance in game, you unlock deadly weapons and gain special perks, which increase your combat skills and abilities. Rush Mode challenges you to take an assault rifle and stay alive as long as you can. Survival Mode is a mixture of two above mentioned modes; you must achieve the highest score using weapons, perks and power-ups, which you have unlocked in Quest Mode.
Style and atmosphere inside game: Crimsonland is an intensive strait-out shooter designed with dark simple 2D graphics, standard set of sound effects and appropriate rock music. The environments are so dark that it is hard to see your character sometimes. The troopers and monsters look like primitive tiny creatures with quality of previous century. In-game options allow adjusting music, sound effects, dithering, texture details and resolution, screen mode, mouse sensitivity and controls. Achieve an outstanding result and post it on the world-wide high score list to challenge other players. Offline gameplay: 1-2 players. Multiplayer support: No ESRB ratio: Mature. Extras and features: a) Forty Tense Levels. b) 25 Deadly Weapons. c) 45 Original Perks. d) 12 Unique Power-ups. e) Comprehensive Tutorial. Drawbacks: a) There are difficulty modes. b) Dark, out-of–date graphics.
